When Aimee and I first saw Aruna's paintings we were both immediately taken by her strong sense of atmosphere and light.
This series of paintings, her first of Colorado, perfectly capture the uniqueness of our landscapes.

The ARC Salon Exhibition is scheduled to open at the MEAM
Museum, Barcelona, Spain, from December 6, 2019-February 2, 2020.
Sotheby’s, NY will then host the exhibit July 17-27, 2020.

Aruna is originally from India and was born and raised there. She immigrated to the US in '96. In 2012 while working in California, she began painting in oils in her spare time and soon found herself captivated by it. She decided to take her interest further and enrolled in the MFA program at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She received her MFA in 2018 and is pursuing her art career full time. 

She moved to Colorado in 2018 and has made Colorado Springs her home where she lives with her husband and her three adorable cats. She is a member of Oil Painters of America and American Women Artists associations and her work has been accepted into multiple national juried art shows.
