...Invited Artist 2019
Tim Deibler has been drawing and painting ever since he was old enough to hold a crayon. Tim took the chance fresh out of high school and moved to Denver to attend the Colorado Institute of Art. The added benefit of seeing the entire front range from his apartment window only added to his love of the mountains!
After working in the commercial art field for several years in Canada and Oklahoma,, he made the permanent move back from Niagara Falls in 1990 to try and support his family as an artist. Spending time on long mountain hikes and camping trips proved beneficial not only for his art but also for his three children. His son is now a park ranger for the National Park Service.
Following his childhood passion, he has built the life for himself and his family that he always dreamed of. Being surrounded by the beauty of the mountains, the views from his log home in southern Colorado are a continuous reminder of their journey which now finds its expression through his award winning paintings.
A Signature member of Oil Painters of America, he has won five Awards of Excellence at OPA's National Juried Shows from such distinguished artists as Daniel Gerhartz, Quang Ho, Ramon Kelly and Scott Christensen.
