Michael DeVore

...With the gallery since 2012

Michael DeVore is a classically trained painter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Graduating in 2005 with a BA in art, from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, Michael was just discovering his passion for classical painting. Determined to learn the ways and techniques of the old masters he went to Italy to attend The Florence Academy of Art.  During his studies in Italy, Michael was honored to be asked to have one of his figure drawings exhibited in the private collection of The Academy’s student works.

Today Michael has his work in collections around the world and participates in various exhibitions. He is also an associate member of Oil Painters of America. Michael currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His work will be featured in the October 2012 Southwest Art Magazine. He will exhibit in the Oil Painters of America Western Regional Show to be held at the 1261 Gallery in Denver in October 2012.
