Miriam B. deOlloqui (Mimi) was born in 1960 in Clifton Forge, VA and started drawing and painting early on.  

Her greatest influence then was her father, Valentine V. deOlloqui, Jr. who was a talent in his own right.  

After earning a BFA at Virginia Commonwealth University, went on to receive an Interior Design graduate 

degree from Boston Architectural College in 1989.  

M. B. deOlloqui' s art forms include drawing, painting and photography.  She has taught 

drawing & watercolors in Virginia and started exhibiting her work in 1994.  Since marrying Jack Turner

and moving to Denver, M. B. deOlloqui has been involved with Plein Air Colorado, 

Denver Art Students League and Brenda Hendrix Studio working in oils.   

Her pieces have been shown in solo and group shows throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Maine and Colorado.
