... Jean Shom needs no introduction to our Colorado collectors. For many years she has been highly sought after for her bold expressive oils inspired by the brilliant hues of the Southwest.Shom followed up college and art school studies with more intensive workshops with nationally known artists such as Kim English, Ann Templeton, Barbara Zaring and Steven Quiller. She has been the recipient of numerous awards including Limited Edition Print Artist for Rocky Mountain PBS, Mural Artist for Children's Hospital-Aurora, CO; and Poster Artist for Project Angel Heart. She recently was selected to be a part of the "FAV15%" in the BoldBrush Painting Competitions in 2014 and 2013.
