 Haley's career bio...

After graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor of fine arts, Nancy Haley used her artistic talents to build 3 very successful businesses. Her first business, straight out of college, was Haley Interiors which specialized in custom interiors for model homes.
In '86 Haley founded Sport-Haley Inc and is credited for revolutionizing sportswear for golf by creating "lifestyle sportswear"- comfortable, stylish fashions for men and women that could be worn on and off the golf course.

In 1997, Haley partnered up with the actor Clint Eastwood to create TEHAMA, a quality line of hi-end luxury sportswear for men and women that sold in private and public golf clubs, resorts and upper scale retail stores such as Nordstrom's and Saks. Tehama clothing was made from cutting edge technical fabrics produced around the world. Haley, CEO of TEHAMA, was responsible for the vision of the brand insisting on quality and originality from the custom designed fabrics, state of the art textiles and superior fit and design. Haley also drove the vision for the marketing of the brand that carried both hers and Eastwood's name on the labels.

Tehama also designed and marketed sportswear for Arnold Palmer and IZOD (Phillips Van Heusen company)

Golf Digest named Haley "One of the 40 Most Powerful People in Golf" along with Jack Nicklaus, Ely Callaway and Arnold Palmer.

In 2003, Haley received Ernst and Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year" award in the Retail and Manufacturing category. Previous winners included Michael Dell of the Dell Corporation, Steven Case of America Online, Leo Gorman of LL Bean and Howard Schultz of Starbucks.

In 2005, Haley was named one of the most powerful people in golf fashion by Golf World. She was the only woman named in the top five along with Ralph Lauren.

In January 2008, the PGA of America awarded Haley with their most prestigious award-.   The "Lifetime Achievement Award" was given to Haley for her many contributions to the golf industry. She was the only woman to ever receive this award.
